Back to School 2025!
Whether you love prepping for fall startup or dread the end of summer, September is an excellent time to start setting up new systems before the colder months. From prepping lunches, making sure after-school activity gear is accessible, to just getting out of the house on time every morning, having systems in place will keep everyone in the family feeling better about the new season.
Back to School Organization Recommendations:
Weekly meal planning, shopping, and prepping for all meals.
This can feel overwhelming but The Pantry from Angela Castrigno (Meal prep Chef NH) is a great resource!
Give supplies + essentials a dedicated home.
Make sure everyone knows where their backpacks, school supplies, shoes, lunches, etc. are stored
Create a backpack emptying station.
Whether you do an inbox to collect items coming through the door or have everyone put items in their dedicated homes, make sure backpacks are emptied as they come in.
Create a paperwork collection area.
No one wants their kid to miss a field trip because of a form stuck at the bottom of a backpack. Make sure all incoming paperwork has a space to be collected and reviewed
Don’t overbook yourself!
Give yourself padding around activities, not only to keep these systems in order but also to do some self care and give the kids some downtime. It will make a massive difference!
